MATERIALS:
J. & P. COATS CROCHET CORD, 1 ball each of White and a color.
Steel Crochet Hook No. 6.
A bone ring.

CIRCLE . . . Starting at center with White, ch 3. 1st rnd: In 2nd ch from hook, make sc, h dc and 10 dc (12 sts). Do not join rnds but work dc in each st around, increasing 12 sts on each rnd until piece measures 6 ½ inches in diameter, h dc in next st, sc in next st, sl st in next st. Fasten off.

To work ridges, divide color in half and use it double as follows: Attach thread in 1st sc at center, * ch 1, skip 1 st, thread over, insert hook under next st and pull loop through, complete a dc. Repeat from * around until all color is used. Fasten off. Sew on ring.
