FIRST MOTIF … Starting at center, ch 6. Join with sl st to form ring. 1st rnd: Ch 1; 12 sc in ring. Join with sl st in 1st sc. 2nd rnd: Ch 3, dc in same place as sl st, 2 dc in each sc around. Join with sl st in top st of starting chain (24 dc, counting starting chain as 1 dc). 3rd rnd: Ch 1, sc in same place as sl st, * ch 7, skip next dc, sc in next dc, (ch 5, skip next dc, sc in next dc) twice. Repeat from * 3 more times, joining last ch-5 with sl st in 1st sc of rnd. 4th rnd: Sl st to center st of next ch-7 loop, ch 1, sc in same loop, * ch 7, sc in same loop, (ch 5, sc in next loop) 3 times. Repeat from * around. Join. 5th rnd: Sl st to center st of next ch-7 loop, ch 1, sc in same loop, * ch 7, sc in same loop, (ch 5, sc in next loop) 4 times. Repeat from * around. EDGING … Attach thread in a corner loop, ch 1, sc in same loop, ** ch 7, sl st in 4th ch from hook, ch 3, sc in same loop, * ch 7, sl st in 4th ch from hook, ch 3, sc in next loop. Repeat from * across to next corner loop. Repeat from ** around. Join and break off. Block to measurements given.
